GSL Education is a recruitment agency that help client schools with recruiting teachers and teaching staff based in the UK. The HQ is in London and there is a support wing based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Currently, GSL is looking to hire Shadow Consultants for its Bangladesh based team.
The Shadow Consultants work closely with the consultants to find out the clients’ recruitment needs and offer suitable staffing solutions for these schools in the UK.
GSL currently has five offices in the UK and a team of staff in Bangladesh, that is operated through Cloud Connect. The successful applicant for the Shadow Consultant’s role will join the team in Bangladesh to support consultants based back in the UK. The selected individual(s) will work closely alongside the consultants and candidate attraction/recruitment officers to provide assistance. Responsibilities:
The selected individuals will be required to perform the following tasks:
- Sourcing candidates using various means, including web attractions, job boards and social media e.g. LinkedIn
- Effectively managing candidate files and ensuring that all of the organization’s candidates are fully compliant according to the vetting priority
- Advert writing – all vacancies need to be advertised which should consist of detail about the client, the role, the pay, the location and the ideal type of candidate. The ability to stand out in a fiercely competitive market. Emails must be eye-catching, relevant and professionally written
- Conduct video interviews of qualified candidates.
- Contact candidates for outstanding documents.
- Collecting references from the respective referees.
- Maintaining Compliance report daily/weekly/Monthly basis.
- Utilize resources for CV searching, and cross examine and match the outstanding vacancies
- Identify suitable candidates to work in UK schools.
- To write creative and eye-catching ‘mailers’ on candidates who are looking for work.
- Compile marketing profiles on candidates that will then be sent to UK schools.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, the ideal candidates are required to have the following:
- Must have an excellent command over English (both spoken and written).
- Applicants with 1 year of job experience will be preferred, however it is not a necessity. Freshers can also apply for this position.
- Possess excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages and social media platforms
- Have the willingness to provide good customer service – English communication skills will be akey deciding factor
- Have the ability to multitask and possess excellent attention to detail
- Able to take direction and be constructive in their approach
- Be flexible and have the ability to assist with a wide variety of tasks under short notice
- Have a creative flair – the position will involve tasks that will set the organization apart from our competitors
- Understanding of the UK education system would be preferable but not essential
Job Type/Office Hours:
- Full-Time
- 5 days/week. Monday to Friday, from UK time 7 AM to 5 PM
- Working remotely from home. Required to work from office once a week to coordinate with the team
